Here I'm sharing my real feedback about Healing Hands Clinic on Dhole Patil Road, Pune administered by Doctor Ashwin Porwal.

I'm posting this here because google reviews are full of hospital managed reviews. As of today while writing this review, there are 10k+ reviews with average rating of 4.9. I fell prey to such a good rating and ended up in so much agony; that I wish nobody should ever go through. They deceived me multiple times during the treatment and google reviews is one of the perfect example. When my surgery was done, one of their staff member came to my room; requsted my wife to give my phone; lying that she want to subscribe to hospital's youtube channel but she put 5 star review using my google account. I deleted that review, when I noticed. All the reviews are managed and manipulated. When there are thousands of manipulated reviews written by themselves, people fail to read real reviews that goes hidden under the pile of those fake reviews.

I was having minor pus discharged from anal fistula for six months before scheduling the surgery. While scheduling the surgery, Dr. Ashwin Porwal assured me that he will be performing the surgery. On the surgery day, I or my wife none of us seen him before / after the surgery or even near the operation theatre. They are simply lying and even not disclosing who did my surgery. So be aware Porwal doesn't do any surgery. God knows who unexperienced person performed my surgery due to which I developed LUTS (Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms) after the surgery. When approached them; the staff is so unexperienced; none of them knows what caused those issues; except denying and saying that its unrelated to surgery. To investigate the problem; they performed urodynamic tests. After getting the reports; they said everything is good. When approached urologist from another hospital, he accepted that reports are not good; also the surgeon did my physical exam and told that fistula is not cured and needs the repeat surgery.

I had complaints related to fistula. I never had any piles related issues; but Doctor Ashwin Porwal in the first meeting said to me that I also have 2nd grade internal piles that needs to be operated. Since I had considerable insurance policy; he made sure to loot the insurance company for maximum amount. To gain most out of the insurance claim; he performed so many procedures on me which were never explained to me. He performed Colonoscopy, Laser Haemorrhoidoplasty, mucopexy and polypectomy when I was having complaints regarding fistula; not piles. Even my complaints are highly exaggerated in discharge card; in reality I was not bothered that much due to minor pus draining out the fistula. When I tried to meet him to get the justification on LUTS that developed after surgery and to understand what procedures they performed on me, his staff always kept saying; he is busy in surgeries and will meet me on the next follow up. In reality he never showed me his damn face again.

They are such a careless and negligant people; they performed the surgery without referring to any imaging. On the day one, I had pre-operative MRI with me. I tried to show it to Dr. Ashwin Porwal. He didn't even looked at the MRI and told me; they will do 3D Endo-Anal USG which is more accurate than it. Since I didn't know much about it; I remained silent in the hope that they will refer the 3D Endo-Anal USG before doing the surgery. But later on I couldn't find the USG report in my discharge file; when I asked for the report; they asked me to share my pre-operative MRI. Now I understood what fraud they are doing with innocent people. If their 3D Endo-Anal USG report is superior than the MRI; why now suddenly they want the MRI after performing the surgery. Clearly they didn't do any imaging before performing the surgery. Such substandard and negligance in surgical procedures shouldn't be tolerated at all. These quacks simply don't know what they are doing with the people.

Updating this review after 1+ year from the surgery date. My LUTS problems still persists. These problems are diagnosed as "Pudendal Neuralgia". This is a very disabling condition that has badly ruined my life very much. More details can be found on this condition on the website: Pudendal Neuralgia. Anorectal laser surgeries like FiLAC (Fistula-tract Laser Closure) for Anal Fistula and LHP (Laser Haemorrhoidoplasty) for internal hemorrhoids are not safe. These procedures carry a high risk of pudendal neuropathy which they do not explain to innocent people like us before doing the surgery.

So overall this is the hell clinic full of fraud quack people. Doctor Ashwin Porwal is a conman and is a big disgrace to the life saving medical community. If you don't wish to spend your rest of the life with the disabilities resulting due to negligance of these quacks; please don't go there.
